Velocity Performance Announces Company Name Change to velocityHUB

NASHUA, NH, October 5, 2016 – On the company’s 5-year anniversary, Velocity Performance has announced a company name change to velocityHUB. The vision of velocityHUB is to build one million leaders.  To date, velocityHUB has developed over 110,000 leaders across 14 diverse industries serving companies as large as the Fortune 10 and as small as sole proprietorships.  Working collaboratively with their clients and continuing to grow their portfolio of services, velocityHUB is focused on developing leaders who are at the center – or HUB – of their company’s need to overcome challenges, remove business obstacles, lead teams, grow revenue, increase employee engagement, improve team productivity and engineer results.

Brendan P. Keegan, Managing Partner and Founder of velocityHUB, weighed in on the new nomenclature for the company. “Nearly 5 years ago to the day, I stepped off an Amtrak train bound for New York City that was leading me toward my next big corporate turnaround as CEO. It was at this time I realized that my vision was to build one million leaders globally, not just in one company. I reversed course and returned to Boston to start Velocity Performance. Since that time, our company has evolved to be the strategic & leadership partner for businesses in 14 diverse industries, and has truly become the HUB to accelerate client results—hence the name ‘velocityHUB.’ We are excited for the next 5 years, and beyond.”

With Keegan’s background in engineering and business leadership, the company takes an engineered and systems-thinking approach.  velocityHUBs consulting methodologies, training programs, models and coaching tools are all built and delivered with this engineering mindset. With a focus on long-term development and lasting results, the tagline for the company is Leadership Engineered.

Keegan said, “We did what we advise our clients to do—think strategically. As we drafted & engineered our business plan for the future, we took a strategic look at our vision and values, and we came to 2 conclusions. First, our clients get results fast and work with us collaboratively to accelerate performance.  Therefore, velocity remains the first word in our name. Second, our clients see their leaders as the HUB of their business that aligns strategy, marketing, sales and operations.  Therefore, HUB is the final part of our name.”

For clients, partners and the community that velocityHUB has developed, there will be no change in service or performance. The only thing that will change is the name of the company and the web URL. velocityHUB operates by the values that spell out RESULTS. It is the commitment of the company to continue to deliver engineered results to their clients.
